Albert Embankment
Living in Albert Embankment
Albert Embankment is on the south side of the River Thames in Central London. It stretches approximately one mile northward from Vauxhall Bridge to Westminster Bridge,
The area was developed in the late 19th century by engineer Sir Joseph Bazalgette, who reclaimed land from the river. Often characterized as a distinctive and historic part of London, the unique position of Albert Embankment leads it to boast several luxurious developments.
Many afford extraordinary views over a timeless silhouette of the London skyline, from the magnificent Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, to Lambeth and Westminster Bridges, and the round pods of the London Eye.
A slender path winds towards the South Bank, London’s world famous riverside ribbon of art and culture, whilst a brief walk over Lambeth Bridge takes you into the heart of Westminster
